The Style Guide For Modern Men PDF Ebook REVIEW

The Style Guide For Modern Men is a new ebook written by Geoffrey Bruyere and Benoit Wojtenka, two professional fashion consultants from Paris.  It is a product put out in association with well-known pickup artist Mark Manson.

The ebook retails for $27, which I would find reasonable as long as there was maybe a bonus or two.  Unfortunately, there’s no bonuses to be found.

It claims to provide “Everything You Need To Know To Turn Heads, Impress Your Co-Workers, Get Checked Out By Women, And Feel More Confident…”  Wow, sign me up! 🙂

The Style Guide For Modern Men does a good job of giving you the fashion advice that they don’t teach in school.  It took me years to figure out how to dress in an attractive manner, this book would of definitely helped me with a lot of  the basics (fit, brands, colors, layering, etc).

There’s a lot of good pictures.  I also like the layout of the book.   I found the basics, advanced and more formal fashion advice to be good, but I could do without the casual “young hipster” advice.  I don’t need to buy a book to know that wearing Adidas and Nike is a safe fashion bet.  I found the recommended “vintage” sneakers to look rather conservative and boring in my humble opinion.

In summary, I give this book 3 1/2 our of 5 stars.  I recommend it for those guys looking for a fashion ebook.  There’s a lot of solid info in it, but it just doesn’t seem like it’s written with my target demographic in mind (lets just say I’m more than likely OLDER than you 😉 ).
