Pheromone Advantage REVIEW ~ Dr. Amend SCAM?

Pheromone Advantage is a popular pheromone scent. It’s created by Dr. Virgil A. Amend D.C and sold by Dr. Amend Direct LLC. It’s available for both men and women. It claims to attract the opposite sex and ignite passion in your relationship. We’ll tell you if it actually works in this Phermomone Advantage review.

It comes in a 1 ounce amber Boston round bottle. The price varies from about $25 to $50 per bottle based on the quantity you buy. Each bottle is said to last a month.

I’ve analyzed a lot of scientific research regarding human pheromones. The results are across the board. Some say pheromones are highly effective. Others say that pheromones only work with certain animals and not humans.

There’s only one way to know if it works, try it! So in this Pheromone Advantage review we decided to test it out. We tested the male and female formulas. We also tested it with single people and people in relationships.

I bought one bottle each of the men’s and women’s formula. I also bought eight unused 1/2 Oz amber glass bottles from eBay. I numbered the bottles 1-8. I split each Pheromone Advantage bottle into two 1/2 oz bottles.

So you ask, what did I do with the remaining four bottles? Well, what’s a good study without a placebo? I mean, come on, we’re not amateurs here at DatingBookReview.com! If you are going to read and trust a Pheromone Advantage review, it BETTER use a single-blind trial like we did or else it’s useless.

I filled the remaining four 1/2 oz bottles with grape seed oil to use as a placebo. I chose grape seed oil because it is a common odorless carrier oil with a similar viscosity as Pheromone Advantage.

So I had each tester wear the Pheromone Advantage scent for two weeks. They also wore the grape seed oil placebo for two weeks. They didn’t know which was which, but I did. They thought both bottles contained Pheromone Advantage. I’m tricky like that!

If Pheromone Advantage’s claims are true, the tester should have noticed a positive change when wearing Pheromone Advantage. They should experience no change when unknowingly wearing the grape seed oil placebo.

So here’s how it went.

Pheromone Advantage Review – RESULTS.

I asked each test study to give a brief one sentence conclusion of their results.

Mack and Emily were both single. Mack started with the Pheromone Advantage and ended with the placebo. Emily was the opposite. Their results seem to show that Pheromone Advantage DID seem to work for them.

Mack said a co-worker was flirting with him. He noticed more strong eye contact from random women when out. He felt that women were more receptive and flirtatious to him when he spoke to them. He said he even had some girls strike up conversations with him, which he said was typically uncommon. When he switched to the placebo, the results seemed to fade. He thought maybe the pheromone became less effective as it “got old” or exposed to the air. When I finally told him that the 2nd bottle was just a placebo, he said that it made sense.

Emily had similar results but in the reverse order. She said it took a while before she started seeing any new results. She wondered why it would take a pheromone a while to start working. It wasn’t like a prescription drug, it should have worked immediately. I finally told her the first bottle was a placebo.

Anne couldn’t seem to differentiate between the Pheromone Advantage and the placebo. She felt like her husband was more passionate throughout the study. Maybe she was more flirtatious and induced it herself knowing that she was wearing the Pheromone Advantage (or at the time, perceived that she was wearing it.)

Michael was already in a highly passionate and intense relationship. He didn’t notice a difference. I spoke with him and came to the conclusion that there’s no need to buy Pheromone Advantage if you’re relationship is already how you would like it. Only consider it if you’re not satisfied.

Pheromone Advantage Review – CONCLUSION.

Based on our admittedly small sample, it appears like there might be some truth about Pheromone Advantage working. Some of it may be due to the pheromones themselves. Some may be due to how you act differently knowing that you’re wearing it.

If you’re already in a happy and heavily charged relationship, it’s probably not worth getting it.

UPDATE 11/28/2018: There’s a new formula of Pheromone Advantage now with oxytocin. It supposedly works better than the previous formula. You can learn more about it and how oxytocin works by clicking here.

Otherwise, you might want to consider giving it a try if you’re single or want to spark some more passion in your relationship. The worst that is going to happen is that you’ll be out around $50. They claim to have a 6 month money back guarantee if you don’t like it or don’t find it effective. I have no experience with requesting our money back.
